- Master’s degree in Archaeology or Master degree in Indian History (with Ancient Indian History or Medieval Indian History as a subject or paper) or Master degree in Anthropology (with stone-age Archaeology as a subject or paper) or Master degree in Geology (with Pleistocene Geology as a subject or paper) from a recognized University or Institute, and
- Post graduate or Advanced Diploma in Archaeology of a duration of at least one year from a recognized University or Institute Or Field experience of at least three years in Archaeology.

Deputy Superintending Archaeologist
To assist the Superintending Archaeologist in the discharge of his official functions which include the following –
- Documentation of antiquities
- Village to Village Survey of antiquarian remains
- Drawing of inspection notes
- To exercise delegated financial and administrative powers
- To ensure steps against encroachment, vandalism, and mutilation of monuments
- Conducting exploration and excavation
- To check and measure various types of conservation work
Cabin Safety Inspector
- To carry out functions assigned in accordance with CAP 3100 for certification of an Air Operator.
- To carry out related functions for continuous management of the AOP for the assigned Air Operator(s).
- To carry out surveillance of assigned Air Operator as per the laid down surveillance plan.
- Any other work assigned by the Director General/ JDG/ CFOI.

- Certificate of Disability in prescribed proforma issued by the competent authority to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) eligible for appointment to the post on the basis of prescribed standards of Medical Fitness.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is a constitutional body in India that conducts direct recruitment of officers to the All India Services and the Central Civil Services through examinations.
