1. NFSU Careers 2024 : Associate Professor

For Associate Professor position,

• A good academic record.
• A master’s degree with 60% marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) with Ph.D. in a concerned /relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University.
• A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in Section 13 of the Act.).
• A postgraduate qualification e.g.. MD/ MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject.

NFSU Associate Professor Vacancy 2024 : Experience

• Experience of Ph.D. guidance
• Minimum eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry
• Minimum five publications in the UGC-CARE listed Journals

2. NFSU Job Careers: NFSU Assistant Professor Vacancy 2024 

For Assistant Professor position,

• A good academic record,

• Minimum two publications in the UGC-CARE listed Journals.

For, Age of superannuation for all the positions shall be as per University norms.

Career NFSU Recruitment 2024: Reservation

For this vacancy, Reservation for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities will be as per existing Government of India norms as amended from time to time. Candidates. applying for the reserved posts should clearly state to which category they belong. They must also enclose a Certificate issued by Tahsildar/ Mamlatdar / Mandal Revenue Officer/Equivalent authority as proof to this effect without which the application will not be considered. In case the candidates want to claim benefits under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category, the candidates’ relevant disability should be not less than 40%. NFSU Jobs 2024: Selection process 

For this Vacancy, 

• The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed as decided by duly constituted Scrutiny Committee(s) and approved by the competent authority. The University may conduct a screening test for the purpose of short listing as per the requirements. Call letters for attending the screening test/interview will be sent only to the short-listed candidates through E-mail/ Samarth Portal. No correspondence will be entertained with applicants who are not short-listed to be called for an interview. 
• The prescribed qualifications are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same does not create any right in his/her favor for being called for an interview.
• Selection will be made on the basis of the candidates’ overall record and performance in the interview. The University may utilize seminar/colloquium and/or any other mode as a method of selection. Every person appointed permanently to a post in the University by direct recruitment, shall be on probation in such post for a period of one year/two years, as the case may be in the first instance.
• Selected Candidates may have to undergo such training and pass such examinations as may be prescribed by the University from time to time.

About National Forensic Sciences University

National Forensic Sciences University, the erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is the brainchild of Govt of Gujarat. It was established by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modiji, then Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2009 with a sole objective of creating professional experts in the field of Forensic sciences. At a juncture of a spiking number of crimes involving sophisticated technologies and much evolved modus operandi, there was a need for scientists and technocrats. 

Thereby the resolution of such heinous crimes were more diligently possible. This has been prudently considered by the Govt of Gujarat and the university came into existence as a unique and first of its kind academic institution dedicated to Forensic Sciences across the globe.
