National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Recruitment : Eligibility Criteria
NIPER Vacancy : Education Qualification
1. CEO
- Doctorate in Life Sciences or allied sciences from a recognized University with at least 10 years experience (excluding the Ph.D. tenure, if any) in at least 2-3 sectors including Industry, CRO, Technology Business Incubators, Start-ups, Innovation Management, or Academic / Research organizations.
- Master’s Degree in Business Management from a recognized University with 15 years’ managerial experience in at least 2-3 sectors including Industry, CRO, Technology Business Incubators, Start-ups, Venture Capital Firms in Technology Sectors, Innovation Management.
- Experience in articulating incubation policy documents, knowledge of startup and entrepreneur ecosystem, proactive networking with industry, incubation center, and mentoring for routine operations.
2. Incubation Manager
Post-Graduation in Business Management/ Technology/Allied Science with
a minimum of 60 percent.
3. Technical Officer
Post Graduation in Life Sciences or Allied Areas
NIPER Recruitment : Desirable
1. CEO
Ph.D. in Life Sciences/ Allied Areas/ is preferable. Preference will be given
to candidates with experience working at Science and Technology-driven
start-up incubators.
2. Incubation Manager
Ph.D. in Life Sciences/ Allied Areas/ Technology is preferable. Minimum of 6 years of work experience in the relevant field excluding the duration of Ph.D.
3. Technical Officer
Minimum of 2 years work experience in the relevant field.

CEO: Max. Age limit 45 years
Incubation Manager: Max. Age limit 40 years
Technical Officer: Max. Age limit 32 years

- Candidates of Indian Nationality can only apply for these posts.
- Candidates should read carefully the requisite minimum essential qualifications, age and eligibility, experience criteria etc. laid down in the advertisement before applying for the above posts. Since all the applications will be screened on the basis of data submitted by the candidate in the online application form, the candidates must satisfy themselves of the suitability for the position to which they are applying. - CANVASSING IN ANY FORM MAY LEAD TO CANCELLATION OF THE CANDIDATE.
- All appointments shall be on contract of one year or less if the project is terminated earlier. The appointments are against the temporary project positions and will not continue in any circumstances beyond the duration of the said project. Any subsequent contract in the project or another project will be fresh appointment. The appointment in the outside funded project does not give project staff any claim whatsoever for appointment/regularization against any Institute post.

NIPER Guwahati is the fifth institute to be included in the list of the premium institutes under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. NIPER-Guwahati started functioning from the month of September, 2008.
The institute was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Union Minister for Fertilizers and Chemicals and Steel, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan on Sept 16th 2008 in the presence of several distinguished personals.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences.
