Bodoland University Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification & Required Experience
1. Project Associate I
For Post 1 :
- Master’s degree in Natural Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of experience in mushroom cultivation training, spawn production, mushroom value addition and mushroom related activities in Government funded projects/organisation.
For Post 2 :
- Master’s degree in Natural Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent/ MBA or equivalent from recognized University.
- Minimum of three years of business development/ experience in Bio entrepreneurship. development, founder or cofounder of a start up company, having experience in cluster formation, business modelling and Strategy development. Strong understanding of business administration and commerce principles. Proven experience in mushroom entrepreneurship, including cultivation, processing, packaging, and marketing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of packaging materials and techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel for field training and support activities.
2. Project Assistant
- B.Sc /3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology.
- Minimum of one year experience in mushroom cultivation training, spawn production and mushroom related activities in Government funded projects/organisation.
3. Biotech Kisan Fellow
- a) Applicant must be in farming practise of Mushroom/ Equivalent for at least five years.
- b) Must have certificate from any recognized agency of the farming practise of five years.
- c) There is no hard and fast eligibility of educational qualification for farmers (preferably with HSLC)
- d) Preference shall be given to women fellows.
- e) The post may be for one to two months and may also continue for 9 months
- f) Rotating Biotech Kisan Hub in a month or two month is desirable so that many farmers can get the chance to learn.
- g) Documents to be submitted Aadhar card, Pan Card, Udyam /or equivalent registration
- h) The kisan fellows need to go to field after trained or work in lab for the mentioned period without any gap or absence.

Bodoland University: Job description
For Post 1 :
Field training & laboratory ground work in connection with spawn/lab. /Culture maintenance/ cultivation/ conducting mushroom training, value addition of food products etc with frequent travelling and monitoring of farmers unit at village level
For Post 2 :
1. Business Modelling and Strategy Development:
– Develop comprehensive business models for mushroom enterprises.
– Conduct market research to identify opportunities and challenges in the mushroom industry.
– Formulate business plans and strategies to support mushroom entrepreneurs

Project Assistant
