Education Qualification
1. Office Assistant : Golaghat Judiciary Education Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Basic word processing skills and the ability to operate a computer and feed data.
- Good typing speed with proper setting of petitions.
- Ability to take dictation and prepare files for presentation in the courts.
- File maintenance and processing knowledge.
2. Peon : Golaghat Judiciary Education Qualification
- Passed Class VIII but not Class XII.
3. Receptionist-cum-Data Entry Operator : Golaghat Job Education Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Word and data processing abilities.
- The ability to work in telecommunication systems (telephones, fax machines, switchboards etc.)
- Proficiency with good typing speed.
Golaghat Jobs: Age Criteria
Candidates must not be less than 21 years or more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2024. The upper age limit is relaxable as per Government norms.

- Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Candidates currently employed in government departments should submit their applications through the proper channel.
- Applicants must fill out the Standard Form legibly in their own handwriting and attach relevant testimonials, including those for Age, Educational Qualification, Caste, Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card, Certificate of Computer Application, and Nationality. The top of the envelope containing the application should be highlighted in bold letters with the name of the post applied for. The application form should include two passport-sized photographs (one pasted on the form and the other stapled carefully without affecting the face in the photograph).

About Golaghat District Court
The Judicial Court of the District & Sessions Judge, Golaghat was inaugurated on 13th of August 1988 by the then Hon’ble Justice Mr A. Raghubir, Chief Justice, Gauhati High Court, Guwahati. The first roll of honour of District & Sessions Judge, Golaghat was Shri A. C. Saikia, M.A, LL.B. The Dhansiri Sub-Divisional Court of Golaghat District at Sarupathar was established in 1996. The Bokakhat Sub-Divisional Court of Golaghat District at Bokakhat was established on 23rd July, 2014 and was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre, Chief Justice, Gauhati High Court.
At present, there are 16(Sixteen) Judicial Courts in the Golaghat District having a population of 9,46,279 and literacy rate of 69.38% as per 2001 census.
