Candidates who applied for analogous Grade-III and Grade-IV posts responding to the Adv. Candidates who applied for the posts of Assistant Professors in the same subject responding to the Adv. No. MDU/22Advt.01/20/222 dated 29.04.2022 published by the University need not have to pay the Application Fee. Madhabdev University Selection Process 2024
Teaching Positions and Post of Finance Officer:
For this vacancy, Mere fulfillment of the minimum eligibility criteria shall not entitle an applicant for consideration to be called for interview. The decision of the Screening Committee(s) for shortlisting of candidates shall be final and binding. Short-listed candidates will be called for an interview in due course of time. The University shall not be held responsible for any postal delay in receiving the application.
Non-Teaching Positions:
The selection process will be consisted of three rounds of evaluation-
Round 1: Written Test
Round 2: Skill Test
Round 3: Interview
Out of total number of candidates who appear the Written Examination, 5 candidates against 1 post will be called for the Round 2 & 3. In Round -2, a panel of experts will evaluate the skills of the candidates. All candidates who appear Round-2, will be interviewed by the Selection Committee. The final selection list will be prepared by calculating the marks of all three rounds. The details of the Evaluation Pattern along with the syllabus will be published in the University website in due time.

Madhabdev University Recruitment 2024 : general information
- Applicants are requested to go through the terms and conditions as noted below and submit their applications only after accepting these terms and conditions. 1. Applicants must mention the name of the Post for which he/she is applying in their applications and also in the outer-side of the envelope.
- Application sent for any post under Reserved Category must submit appropriate certificate offered by competent authority.
- Applicants are to submit along with their applications all certificates/documents/testimonials in support of their age, educational & other qualifications, experience etc.
- In-service persons must submit their applications through proper channel and submit a -No Objection Certificatel from the appointing authority along with application.
- All applications irrespective of any category shall be scrutinized by a Screening Committee for short-listing the number of candidates. If found incorrect or deficient in any form in supplying any information required such applications shall be outright rejected.
- Mere fulfillment of the minimum eligibility criteria shall not entitle an applicant for consideration for any test/interview. The decision of the Screening Committee(s) for short listing the candidates shall be final.
- The University reserves the right to cancel any application at any stage on its own reason. It also reserves the right to relax any qualification or requirement of any candidate if he/she is found to be exceptionally meritorious or otherwise deemed to be essential for the University.
- All post irrespective of any category shall remain purely temporary until they are confirmed after a minimum of one year’s probation period which may be extended if necessary.
- A candidate selected for a post must be medically, physically and mentally fit. A certificate to that effect duly signed by the Joint Director of Health services of the district concerned or a Government Medical Officer, shall have to be produced by the person before he/she is allowed to join.
- A certificate about good conduct from the Head of the Institution last attended or served (if not an employee of this University), if any, shall have to be submitted along with the application.
- Incomplete applications in any form shall be summarily rejected. A list of enclosures must be furnished as provided in the application form.
- Applicants may attach additional sheet(s) wherever necessary quoting the serial number.
- Applicants willing to apply for more than one post must send separate application for each post along with separate application fee.
- Application(s) received after the last date as mentioned in the advertisement shall not be endorsed.
- No TA/DA will be admissible to the applicants for appearing in any interview/written test etc.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
- The University reserves the right to withdraw the advertised post at any time without assigning any reason thereof. The right is also reserved with the University either to fill or not to fill the post(s) and its decision in this regard shall be final.

About Madhabdev University
Madhabdev University is a public state university located in Narayanpur, Assam. The university is established by The Assam Act No. XXXV of 2017 which was passed by the Government of Assam on 7 September 2017. It was created by upgrading Madhavdev College of Narayanpur, North Lakhimpur.
It was named after Sri Sri Madhavdev, an important preceptor of the Ekasarana Dharma known for his loyalty to his guru, Srimanta Sankardev.
The first meeting for the establishment of the college was held on 24 November 1963 at Madhavpur Higher Primary School near Narayanpur town and in 1964 the college was established as Narayanpur College. The first president was Kamal Gogoi and the founding secretary was the freedom fighter Purnananda Dutta. The first ad hoc management committee of the college was formed on 1 July of that year. In the first year, there were 75 students and 5 teachers in the departments of English, Assamese, Political Science, History and Economics The college was renamed as Madhavdev College on 2 August 1966.
In 1964, Guwahati University and in 1965, Dibrugarh University accredited the pre-university class. The college received its graduation course from Dibrugarh University in 1967. The Science Branch was started in 1978.
