Staff Selection Commission Vacancy : Education Qualification
For SSC MTS Application Form 2024 candidates must have a 10th pass or should have an equivalent degree from a recognized school.
SSC MTS 2024 : Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
- (a) a citizen of India, or
- (b) a subject of Nepal, or
- (c) a subject of Bhutan, or
- (d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The age limit for SSC MTS posts is between 18 to 25 years and that for Havaldar posts is 18 to 27 years.
SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria: Age Relaxation
Candidates of reserved categories are provided with upper age relaxation as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-serviceman: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date of receipt of the online application.
- Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof : 3 Years

Job in SSC MTS : Window for Application Form Correction
- After the closing date for online applications, the Commission will allow candidates a 2-day period to correct or modify their application details. During this time, candidates can resubmit their applications with the necessary changes.
- Each candidate can correct and resubmit their application twice.
- Only those candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the application form, whose completed online applications along-with payment of requisite fee, have been received by the Commission within the specified period
- The Commission will levy a uniform correction charge of ₹200/- for making correction(s) and re-submitting modified/ corrected application for the first time and ₹500/- for making correction(s) and re-submitting modified/ corrected application for the second time. The correction charges will be applicable to all candidates irrespective of their gender/ category
- The correction charges once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
- The final modified application submitted with the correction fee will be considered valid, while previous versions will be cancelled.
- If correction fees are not received, the application will be marked as incomplete and not accepted.
- No corrections will be allowed after the correction window closes, and requests for changes will be rejected.
SSC MTS Vacancy Recruitment : Selection Method
The SSC MTS selection process has two stages: a Computer based Objective Type Paper and a Physical Standard and Efficiency Test.
- Paper 1: A computer-based test with two sessions.
- Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test: Required only for the Havaldar post.
- Document Verification: The final stage where certificates are checked, and a merit list of selected candidates is announced.

About Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organisation under the Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various ministries and departments of the government of India and in subordinate offices and agencies.
This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of chairman, two members and a secretary-cum-controller of examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of additional secretary to the government of India.
The SSC decided to conduct the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff examination in 13 Indian languages, which are Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Konkani, Meitei (Manipuri), Marathi, Odia and Punjabi, in addition to Hindi and English, out of the 22 official languages of the Indian Republic, for the first time in January 2023.
