UCO Bank Vacancy: Apprentice Post 

• Graduate degree from recognized University/ Institutes approved by Govt. of India or its regulatory bodies. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01.07.2024 and candidates must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/Degree Certificate issued from the University/ Institute/ College as and when required by the Bank.

 United Commercial Bank Recruitment 2024: Stipend

• A monthly stipend of Rs 15000/- (including subsidy amount if any by Govt. of India) shall be paid to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship.
• The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
• UCO bank will make payment of Rs 10,500/- into the apprentices account on a monthly basis. 
• Government Share of stipend of Rs 4500/- will be directly credited to the apprentices Bank account through DBT mode as per extant guidelines.

How to Apply for UCO Bank Recruitment 2024

• Candidates will have to register and complete his/her profile on NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/Student login), if not done before.
• A list of documents needed for enrolment is available on the NATS portal under “Student Register” section. Please ensure all necessary documents are ready before you start the registration process.
• Candidates will have to fill the Basic information, Education Details, Communication Details. Training Details and Bank details to complete his/her profile.
• Student Manual is available on the NATS portal for detailed instruction and guidance.
• On completion of the registration process, search for UCO Bank Apprenticeship Engagement and then apply.
•  After applying, the candidate can check for applications status from the application management.

Note:

1. The name of the candidate should be filled correctly in the application as it appears in OVD/certificates/Mark sheets. Any change/alteration may disqualify the candidature. 
2. An application which is incomplete in any respect will not be considered as valid. No communication will be entertained in this regard.
3. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the application form themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the application form will be possible/entertained.
4. Please note that the above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying. No other mode of application would be accepted and such applications would be rejected. 
5. Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the last valid (complete) application will be considered.
6. Any information submitted by an applicant in his/her online application form shall be binding the candidate personally and he/she shall be liable for prosecution/civil consequences, in case the information/details furnished by him/her are found to be false at a later stage.

United Commercial Bank Recruitment: Test of local language

The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of that State. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted during the process of document verification Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for. apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidence having studied the local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

The daily hours of training will be as applicable to the clerical staff of the Bank.

UCO Bank Recruitment 2024: Selection process 

1. Selection will be done through Screening and Personal interview of the shortlisted candidates at Banks sole discretion. However, in the event of a high volume of applications, the Bank reserves the right to conduct a written test at its sole discretion, In such case, the selection process may be conducted solely through the written test.
2. If the selection process includes a written test, this will be communicated on the Bank’s website www.ucobank.com >careers. A registration link for the written test, along with payment of requisite fee, will be made available on the Bank’s website. Candidates must register for the written test to participate. Failure to register for the written test will result in the candidate being disqualified from further participation in the selection process, information regarding the written test, including the date, centre, pattern of test, will be provided on the Bank’s website. Candidates are required to regularly check the website for updates.
3. The screening committee constituted by the Bank will examine whether the candidates fulfil the required eligibility criteria. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard. 
4. Candidates are required to score a minimum marks in interview/written test (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying in the interview/written test will be as decided by the Bank. Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their interview/written marks in descending order in respective States and Categories. In case more than one candidate scores the same marks as cut-off marks in the merit list (common marks at cut off point) such candidates will be ranked in the merit list according to their oge in descending order in respective States and categories.
5. Bank reserves the right to change (cancel/ modify/ add) any of the criteria, method of selection and provisional allotment etc.
6. The Bank reserves the right to reject any application not suiting the Bank’s requirements without assigning any reason whatsoever and call only the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria. 

Note:

Engagement of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.

UCO Bank Recruitment 2024: Wait-List

A Wait list (State-category wise) will be maintained for one year from the date of result of the engagement of apprentices or next engagement exercise, whichever is earlier. Candidates will be released only once from this waitlist against non-joining subject to availability of qualified candidates

UCO Bank Recruitment 2024: Terms Engagement of Apprentice

1. The Candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship either with UCO Bank or any other organisation earlier or pursuing the Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act 1961 as amended from time to time. It is further clarified that any Apprentices terminated by its organisation  where he/she was undergoing an Apprentice shall not be eligible to be considered. 
2. Candidates, who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after completing the education qualifications, shall not be eligible for being engaged as Apprentices.
3. Every Apprentice undergoing apprenticeship training in our Bank shall be a trainee for all the purposes and not considered as worker or employee of the Bank as such the provisions of any law with respect to labour shall not apply to or in relation to such apprentice. He/She will not be entitled to receive any benefits which are available for the employees of the Bank.
4. The apprentice shall have no right to claim employment in Bank after completion of the training. 
5. Bank does not have any obligation to offer regular employment to apprentice during or after completion of the apprenticeship period.
6. Candidates shall be relieved from the respective area after immediate completion of apprenticeship period. The apprentices will have no right to claim for regular employment in the bank based on the apprenticeship training undergone and such apprenticeship training will not cast any liability on the bank for providing any job to any such apprentice.
7. Providing Transport/Hostel facility or any other form of residential accommodation during Apprentice training is not under the scope and Bank is not liable to the same in whatsoever manner.
8. Candidates selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw from training except for reasons which are beyond their control. Before commencement of the training, the candidates will have to execute a Contract of Apprenticeship. Those who absent themselves are liable to refund the whole cost of their training as well as the amount received as stipend as determined by the Central Apprenticeship Advisor/ Govt. guidelines issued time to time in this regard.
9. During the period of Apprenticeship, the selected Apprentices will be governed by Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) and Bank policy/guideline in this respect will be applicable mutus and mutant.
10. The contract of Apprentice shall automatically get terminated on expiry of the period of Apprenticeship Training and no separate notice of termination of contract will be issued by the Bank.
11. The contract of Apprenticeship shall be terminated, if the apprentice does not report at the Bank’s Training venue on the date of commencement of on the job training without any notice, cost and compensation.

UCO Bank Recruitment 2024: General Information

1. Before applying candidates should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other norms mentioned in this. advertisement and ready to comply with the requirements and terms & conditions contained in this. advertisement. The candidates are, therefore, advised to carefully read the advertisement and thereafter complete filling up of application form and submit the same as per the instructions given in this regard..

2. Candidates should indicate the percentage obtained to the nearest two decimals in the application. Where CGPA/OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted into percentage and indicated in the application. If called for document verification, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter-alia stating the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of these norms.

3. The Bank reserves the right to alter, modify or change the eligibility criteria and / or any of the other terms and conditions spelt out in this notice, including criteria for qualifying/method and procedure for selection.

4.  Call letters/advice will be sent via email. Candidates are advised to keep their email ID octave for  receiving advice.

 5. Candidates will have to produce original certificates for educational qualifications, age, category etc. at the time of document verification, in support of his/her eligibility, as per the details furnished in the application, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

6. Decision of the Bank in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, the documents to be produced, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full and any other matter relating to engagement will be final and binding on the candidates. No correspondence or personal enquiries shall be entertained by the Bank in this regard.

7. Caste certificates issued by Competent Authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India will have to be submitted by the SC/ST/OBC candidates, at the time of document verification/engagement. if called for.

8. Benefit of reservation under EWS category can be availed upon production of an ‘Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority on the format prescribed by Government of India for the relevant financial year i.e, valid for 2024-25.

9. PWBD candidates should produce disability certificates, in prescribed format issued by a competent authority as per the Government of India Guidelines.

10. No Ex-servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen shall be engaged as an apprentice and there is no reservation to Ex-servicemen/ Disabled ex-servicemen in the apprentice engagement.

11. Filling up of the seats is solely at the discretion of the Bank based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability / insufficient number of candidates.

 12. Candidate will appear for the interview/ written test at the allotted centre at his/her own risk and expenses and UCO Bank will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature. The Bank will not reimburse or bear any travelling expenses that may be incurred by the candidate during the process.

13. Request for change of contact no./address/ email ID/interview/written test centre will not be entertained.

14. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

15 . Applicants are advised in their own interest to apply online well before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability/ failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on the internet. or website jam. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected Even after engagement, his/her training is liable to be terminated without notice. Decision of bank in all matters regarding eligibility, selection would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard. Bank reserves all rights pertaining to this engagement and would be final.
