National Health Authority Notification 2024: SCR has released an official notification for positions of Deputy Director, Assistant Director & Assistant Section Officer Post. According to the official notification of the National Health Authority (SCR), There are only 22 vacancies available.
The National Health Authority or the NHA is responsible for implementing India’s flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). NHA has been set-up to implement the PM-JAY at the national level. In the States, SHAs or State Health Agencies in the form of a society/trust have been set up with full operational autonomy over the implementation of this scheme including extending the coverage to non SECC beneficiaries.

Documents To Be Uploaded : NHA Career 2024
- Annexure II, duly filled, signed by the candidate, and countersigned with a seal by the Cadre/Appointing Authority.
- Attested copies of APAR/ACRs for the last 5 years (2019-20 to 2023-24), with each page signed by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India.
- Integrity Certificate certifying the candidate’s integrity.
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate indicating no pending vigilance cases.
- Details of any major or minor penalties imposed on the officer in the last 10 years.
- Certificate confirming that the details provided by the candidate have been verified and are accurate as per service records (included in the Departmental Endorsement at the end of the Biodata Proforma).
- Cadre Clearance Certificate granting clearance from the cadre.

About National Health Authority
National Health Authority (NHA) is the apex body responsible for implementing India’s flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme called “Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana” & has been entrusted with the role of designing strategy, building technological infrastructure and implementation of “National Digital Health Mission” to create a National Digital Health Ecosystem.
National Health Authority is the successor of the National Health Agency, which was functioning as a registered society since 23rd May, 2018. Pursuant to Cabinet decision for full functional autonomy, National Health Agency was reconstituted as the National Health Authority on 2nd January 2019, under Gazette Notification Registered No. DL –(N) 04/0007/2003-18.
NHA has been set-up to implement PM-JAY, as it is popularly known, at the national level. An attached office of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with full functional autonomy, NHA is governed by a Governing Board chaired by the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare. It is headed by a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), an officer of the rank of Secretary to the Government of India, who manages its affairs. The CEO is the Ex-Office Member Secretary of the Governing Board.
NHA is leading the implementation for Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission(ABDM) in coordination with different ministries/departments of the Government of India, State Governments, and private sector/civil society organizations.
