Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY Careers Vacancy : Education Qualification
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board and also possess ITI Certificate in the trade notfied from the institutes recognised by NCVT/SCVT.
ITI Certificates issued by Institutes affiliated to NCVT/SCVT are compulsory in the relevant trades as under:
Note: Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for apprenticeship in response to this notification as they are governed by a separate scheme of apprenticeship
SCR Recruitment : Method of Recruitment
On Deputation basis for a maximum period of 03 years, likely to be extended for another 02 years (without Absorption)
SCR Jorhat Job Vacancy : Desirable
Experience of computer systems for information processing and retrieval. Preference to be given to those who have had experience of working in design or a similar institution in an analogous post.
SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY Vacancy 2024 : Age Limit
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on the cut-off date for receiving online applications i.e., 28.12.2024.

Mode of Payment

SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY Career Jobs : Training & stipend
Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council. The selected candidates will be paid stipend during Apprenticeship at the prescribed rates as per extant instructions.

Mode of Selection
- The selection process follows Railway Board rules (RBE 120/2015, dated 06.10.2015).
- A merit list will be created based on your marks:
- 10th Class/Matriculation: Need at least 50% overall marks.
- ITI Exam: Both 10th and ITI marks will be given equal importance.
- If Marks Are the Same:
- The older candidate gets the preference.
- If ages are the same, whoever passed the 10th exam earlier will be selected.
- No Exams or Interviews: any candidate don’t have to take any written test or interview for this process.

About SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY
South Central Railway was formed on 02.10.1966 when Hubli and Vijayawada Divisions of Southern Railway and Sholapur and Secunderabad Divisions of Central Railway were carved out and merged into a new Zone. Subsequently, Guntakal Division of Southern Railway was merged with South Central Railway on 02.10.1977 and Sholapur Division was remerged with Central Railway. Secunderabad Division was split into two Divisions viz. Secunderabad and Hyderabad on 17.02.1978. Following re-organisation of zones and Divisions with effect from 01.04.2003, two newDivisions viz., Guntur and Nanded were operationalised duly transferring Hubli Division to newly formed South Western Railway.
